The Planning and Civil Engineering & Development departments today launched the Stage 1 Community Engagement for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge’s Topside Development at Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities Island.

As the island is near Hong Kong International Airport, it will serve as a gateway for Hong Kong and the western Pearl River Delta. The Government is conducting a study to ascertain the feasibility of carrying out the proposed commercial development and other economic activities at the topside and underground space of the island, and to optimise their scope and scale.

The community engagement will run until September 7. Activities including a public forum, briefings and a roving exhibition will be conducted. Click here for details.  People can send in their views by email.
