Three dead, two missing after metro tunnel collapse in east China

Three workers have been confirmed dead and two others still missing following a collapse at a metro tunnel construction site in Qingdao, eastern Shandong province, the project’s owner said today, Xinhua reports.

Qingdao Metro said the collapse occurred at 5:40 p.m. yesterday at a construction site of the No 4 Metro Line, when five workers were trapped.

By today, rescuers have found the bodies of three workers.
