Hong Kong’s Land Dep issues 8 residential consents

The Lands Department issued eight pre-sale consents for residential developments and one pre-sale consent for commercial development in the first quarter of this year.

The eight residential consents involved 5,097 uncompleted units. Two developments in Kowloon Tong and Shek Kip Mei, comprising 24 units, are set for completion this year. Three developments in Ho Man Tin, Tseung Kwan O and Yuen Long, comprising 2,580 units, will be completed next year.

Two developments in Ho Man Tin and Yuen Long, comprising 1,473 units, are expected to be completed in 2018. The remaining one development in Sha Tin, comprising 1,020 units, will be completed in 2019.

As at the end of last month, 26 applications for residential consent involving 9,999 units, and 10 applications for commercial consent were being processed.

In addition, a consent to assign involving 1,092 residential units in Ma On Shan was issued in the quarter.
