Hong Kong Sites fetch $2.7b

Tenders for a business site and a residential site in the New Territories have been awarded for $1.69 billion and $1.056 billion to Regal Crown Development and Conventional Wisdom Limited, the Lands Department announced yesterday.

Regal Crown’s parent company is Sino Land while that of Conventional Wisdom is Sunny Autumn Limited.

The tenders for both sites involve 50-year land grants.

The business site at the junction of Wang Yip Street West and Hong Yip Street, Tung Tau Industrial Area, has an area of about 9,246 square metres and is designated for non-residential purposes, excluding hotel, petrol station and residential care home. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 27,738 and 46,230 sq m.

The residential site, Tuen Mun Town Lot No.497 on So Kwun Wat Road, has an area of 6,800 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 14,688 and 24,480 sq m.
