Hong Kong: Lands Department registers 16 land transactions in Q3

The Lands Department registered 15 lease modifications and one land exchange in the Land Registry during the third quarter of this year, of which four were technical changes involving nil premium.

Seven of the transactions were on Hong Kong Island, three in Kowloon, and six in the New Territories.

Another two lots granted by private treaty were registered during the quarter, involving one in Tseung Kwan O granted to the MTR Corporation for commercial-residential development, and another granted for a non-profit-making international school development in Cheung Sha Wan.

The transactions realised a total land premium of $7.47 billion.
