Construction and property based Gabungan AQRS Bhd is tendering for RM1bil of construction projects as it seeks to increase its order book to more than RM2bil.
Its chief executive officer Ng Chun Kooi said on Thursday that over the years, the company had built up a solid portfolio of wide-ranging projects and sizes in the construction industry.
We believe that together with our years of experience, it will give us the edge to secure some of these projects that we are tendering for,” he said in a statement issued after its AGM.
Ng said Gabungan AQRS aimed to scale up its construction operations to have an ongoing order book of more than RM2bil at any one time.
Some of the group’s ongoing construction projects include the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) Sungai Buloh to Kota Damansara line, road works in Negeri Sembilan and Tropicana Metropark in Subang Jaya which would keep the group busy till 2016.
