Awards for Kai Tak Int Ideas Competition on Urban Planning & Design

Secretary for Development Paul Chan presented awards in the Kai Tak Fantasy – International Ideas Competition on Urban Planning & Design today.

It was won by Kai Tak 2.0: Healthy Lift-Off, a creative and innovative proposal developed by Md Masudul Islam and his team.

Kai Tak Fantasy will be a 90-hectare recreational landmark in the Kai Tak Development.

Mr Chan said the winning proposal not only optimises Kai Tak Fantasy’s potential, but demonstrates the impressive thoughts of the four themes of the Energising Kowloon East initiatives, namely connectivity, branding, diversity and design.

He said he looks forward to Kai Tak Fantasy’s transformation into a distinguished, energetic, attractive and people-oriented community.
