Atkins-designed “The Hari” hotel in Hong Kong topped out

“The Hari”, an Atkins-designed hotel project in Hong Kong, has topped out on April 9, 2019, reaching a major milestone.

Wilton Wong, Technical Director for Architecture at Atkins, said: “It’s with great pride that we top out on The Hari to achieve this significant milestone on our project. As lead consultant, we have led the consultant teams and contractor towards this milestone. We have been working on this project since 2015, and look forward to seeing the completion of the important project in our portfolio in 2020.”

Richard Bostock, Regional Director at Faithful+Gould in Hong Kong and Macau, commented: “The collaborative approach and comprehensive multidisciplinary services that our company is providing on this project has embraced our core values and been key to the successful top out the project on time for our client.”

Due to open in 2020, the luxury hotel builds on the success of Harilela family’s signature hotel in London. It is the first hotel of the Harilela Group that carries its own brand in Hong Kong and Asia, offering guests unique and special experiences.

On arrival, visitors to the hotel will pass through a welcoming but lively covered drop-off, and ascend to check-in within a luxurious and unique podium lobby. All guest rooms are designed with an enviable vista along Lockhart Road in the dynamic district of Wanchai, whilst the penthouses are rewarded with stunning views across the wider cityscape. The full-height glazing of all rooms provides a dramatic experience connecting hotel guests to the vibrancy of Wanchai.
