Airport rail construction to start in May

Airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II said on Thursday the construction of a railway network connecting Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and Jakarta city center will begin in May this year.

Indra Cahya, the head of the project management unit with Angkasa Pura II, confirmed the construction schedule, saying the state-owned railway company PT KAI would start placing materials around the M-1 Gate, an alternative access route to the airport.
