The Buildings Department approved 13 building plans in September – five on Hong Kong Island, two in Kowloon and six in the New Territories.
Seven were for apartment and apartment-commercial developments, four were for commercial developments, and two were for community services developments.
Consent was given for works to start on 11 building projects which will provide 20,799 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use involving 692 units, and 12,912 sq m of gross floor area for non-domestic use.
The department also issued 18 occupation permits – eight on Hong Kong Island, two in Kowloon and eight in the New Territories.
Buildings certified for occupation have 112,010 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use involving 1,095 units, and 145,284 sq m for non-domestic use.
The declared cost of new buildings completed in September was about $8.6 billion.
